Set on the edge of the tiny village of Threshfield, The Old Hall Inn building, now lovingly restored, can be traced back to its construction by Monks in the 14th century. This restoration work can also be appreciated in our four en-suite letting bedrooms and in our excellent self catering cottages, created from two historic and adjacent buildings. Located close to Grassington National Park Centre on the B6265, you will quickly become aware that The Old Hall Inn is a traditional Yorkshire pub of the highest quality, and much more!
You will have already parked your car with ease in one of our two car parks and noted the impressive Beer Garden and children’s play area before entering the main building. In the bar with coal fire burning within the Inglenook fireplace, and noting the stone flagged floor, the visitor is constantly impressed with for instance, the choice, including vegetarian, available via our a la carte menu, on offer for both luncheon and dinner six days per week (on Sunday we offer a splendid Sunday lunch only). A glance into the 40 seat restaurant will confirm that our excellent cuisine which includes English fare and daily “specials” may be enjoyed in splendid comfort and surroundings. The range of drinks including cask ales from behind the bar will also cause you to raise an eyebrow.
The word “impressive” is used regularly by guests when describing The Old Hall Inn and if staying with us there are further “lasting impressions” to be appreciated. The four guest bedrooms with exposed beams have been renovated with the same love and dedication as the public rooms. These rooms are, of course, en-suite with colour television and beverage making facilities and an ideal place to relax and unwind before drinks in the bar followed by dinner. After a good nights sleep, there is a hearty breakfast to be enjoyed.
If you prefer self catering we doubt if you will have stayed previously in anything matching the standard of The Old Hall Inn’s cottages. Dating back to the 14th century they are adjacent to the main building and have been created with the same love and care evident elsewhere. They consist of an open plan lounge with gas fire, dining room and fitted kitchen and they are centrally heated. The double bedroom is galleried and en-suite. All furnishings and finishes are to our customary high standard, there is ample parking and we include in the tariff, all costs relating to heat and power, colour television, video, microwave, washing machine, crockery, cutlery, glassware, bed linen and towels. If required, a cot and high chair can be supplied and your well behaved dog is welcome. Why not really treat yourself and ask chef to deliver a meal from the menu to be enjoyed by your own fireside.
For your convenience, wireless Broadband is now available in guest rooms and throughout the hotel and cottages.
The Old Hall Inn enjoys an excellent reputation in this exquisite part of the country for unsurpassed quality and genuine hospitality. Visit us soon, we know that you will want to return again and again
